Fuller Rooms

The Parish Council decided that, after many years of use, the Fuller Room needed a facelift. So over the last 2 years we have installed a suspended ceiling to improve the acoustics and heat retention, along side fitting a new energy efficient boiler for instant hot water as well as heating. Also, the kitchen (original circa 1960ish) has been completely refitted including oven, hob, microwave and an insulated floor. Blinds have been fitted to all the windows, with the end ones being able to be used as projection screens even in daytime! The room and entrance hall have been redecorated.

We have used local tradesmen for all this work, after putting it out to tender, even the suspended ceiling was done by a Grantham firm.

In the future we are looking to install new more efficient and quieter radiators. We are also looking at the possibility of installing a "mini museum" at one end of the room to store and display local artefacts and documents in a safe environment.
